Poeticmindz Productions is proud to welcome ThaWilsonBlock Network to "The Lion's Den" an independent website based out of Pasadena, Ca. that allows upcoming artist a chance to be heard on their site as well as featuring them on their 24/7 radio. Therefore we are taking the time to recognize their achievements and efforts, as well as, allowing them a chance to tell everyone a little more about themselves.

ThaWilsonBlock Network is an open independent underground record label based in Pasadena, Ca. It’s cause is to put a stronghold on the underground scene PREDOMINANTLY in Pasadena, Ca because we felt it hasn’t been done. We strive to pave the way for the NOW & NEXT generation of artists by offering completely free artist promotion for any type of artist or person with a trade such as barbers who networks to build their clientel.

WHAT IS THE NAME OF YOUR SITE AND HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN ACTIVE? ThaWilsonBlock Network (since 2008). We went through many phases before becoming what we are today. At first the site was made strictly as the official site of ThaWilsonBlock Recordz. A year later is when we finally found a legitimate purpose for the website. And boy has it worked!

WHAT WERE YOU LOOKING TO ACCOMPLISH BY CREATING THIS SITE? To put a stronghold on the underground music scene in Pasadena, Ca & beyond

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY SEPERATES YOU FROM ALL OTHER SITES, WHAT MORE DO YOU HAVE OFFER MEMBERS? A lot of sites offer promotional packages to artists for a price. We offer 100% FREE ARTIST PROMOTION that comes with mixtape hosting and a much more ‘grander’ package. The only thing they’d have over us is the audience. We work vigorously to build an audience for our artists. And what gives us the edge in that is simple one-click downloads. No accounts needed no download limits. We put it out to the world. Come & get it!

IS THERE ANY HIDDEN COST OR IS FREE FOR MEMBERS TO JOIN? No. not yet at least J

HAS ANYONE BEEN FOUND FROM OFF OF YOUR WEBSITE FOR RECORD DEALS, CONCERTS, OR ANYTHING ELSE OF THAT NATURE? Not that I’m aware of, but it has helped make artist collaborations

HOW MANY HITS DO YOU THINK YOU GET EACH DAY AND HOW MANY MEMBERS ARE ON YOU WEBSITE? I have 200 members 50+ artists and we’re getting roughly 100+ hits a day & growing

HOW WAS YOUR WEBSITE DISCOVERED? AND WHAT DOES A WEBSITE HAVE TO DO TO GET SPONSORSHIP FROM YOU? IF THAT IS POSSIBLE. To get sponsorship for ThaWilsonBlock Network, you have to have the same ambitions as us. We’re open to big business, but it’s not how we currently operate.

ARE YOU HOLDING ANY CONTEST, RADIO SHOWS, BATTLES, OR ANYTHING IN THE FUTURE? Not really. But our forum is used to provide Music Singles/Mixtapes & Albums/Radio Shows/Reviews & so much more. Most of the media in Tha Great Wilson Forum are available for Listen/Download/Comment/Buy. Other than that we love to promote that kinda stuff!
